One such program was the audiocassette release function of new Kannada film Mani directed by Yogaraj Bhat produced by Karisubbu. Well before the release itself this film is receiving good words from the industry. Specialty of the film is its crew. Except the producer and heroine Radhika, Mani is a debut film for the rest - director Yogaraj Bhat, music director Raj, choreographer Shrinivas, dialog writer Suri, cinematographer Jnanamurthy, whats more, even for the hero of the film Mayur is a debut entry to Kannada. Producer Karisubbu enters the area of story writing through this film.

Program organized differently in a resort outside Bangalore City was unique in all respect. Producer Subbu started introducing his team with a strange approach by saying 'We eight 'PEEDE' (evils) together have made this film…' Was sounding strange when he used this word but he proceeded to with justification adding a lot of humorous touch. Program started with its own unique way surprised the people present there with its next event of audiocassette release. Well-known producer Siddalingaiah who was the chief guest released the audiocassettes from a bowl full of pearl (Mani) came on a raft in a pond located at the resort. Music director Raj who is from Nepal has done a neat job with the tunes. Demonstrates his talent in his debut film itself. Kannada film industry got one more to its list. Out of six songs three has lyrics by K. Kalyan, one by dialog writer Suri and two songs by the director himself. Shankar Mahadevan, Rajesh, M.D. Pallavi, Citra,Nandita, Bappi, Madhu Balakrishna, Mayur, B. Jayashi, Yogaraj are the singers. This film is expected to hit the screen by first week of September.
