Girish Kasaravalli
  Nayi Neralu - Girish's next

Pavithra LoekshProlific director Girish Kasaravalli is in news after three national awards this year for his film Haseena. With over 25 years of experience as a filmmaker, most of his films lack 'mass appeal' but are serious works that focuses on the social and political ethos. Kasaravalli is now all set for yet another creative brilliance - Nayi Neralu. This film based on noted write S.L. Bairappa's novel deals with social downtrodden of a widow, reincarnation and human rights. It's a story of a young widow. Rebirth of her husband brings a ray of hope in her life. But their son of the same age refuses to accept the young man as his father. But director Kasaravalli has made quite a bit of changes to this story to make it more appealing. In the film, the young widow finds her husband in a young man and starts believing that it's the reincarnation of her husband. But her daughter of the same age opposes it.

AshwinPavitra Lokesh, one of the brilliant actresses plays the lead role while Ananya Kasaravalli plays her daughter's role. Director has picked a new actor for the male lead. Ashwin, a youngster from Karnataka but currently staying in UK has recently completed his degree in acting from Leads University and is debuting into Kannada films. He is lucky enough to get a chance to act in Kasaravalli movies! Basanth Kumar Patil, the ex president of KFCC is producing Nayi Neralu that is scheduled to mount on October 02.
