Accoring to the popular news paper "The Hindu" ..Kannada movie makers are now approaching tamil superstar Rajni Kanth to act in a kannada movie..it was kamal hassan and then Amitab bachan and now rajni. The sources also say that Kamal Hassan might direct a swamake movie in kannada aMte ..he might take up this project after Ramesh's movie...Sudeep has also started direction at a very young age yes its a reamke but its a bold move that most veterans in the film industry might not take.. encourage him for his first movie if he directs another reamke we shall dis own him ...same goes with our ramesh.... what is important is that kannada movies have suddenly started hitting news on national and internal news papers,portals and TV. Lets dedicate this thread to kannada news in front page papers and news nange gothiro news articles headlines illi paste mADuve ..im not sure if I can paste the links if its ok with the rules in the forum I can do that too... Kannada making bigg news

i had reapeted this issue in other threads
our producers have to some good steps.. like atleast realsing for 2 shows in multiplexes(like how mallu movies r screened in PVR)

Guyz.. Even I want to watch all of these movies, but unfortunately I'm workin in Hyd. I can't understand why r our producers not thinking of releasing kan movies in Hyd?? There is a big kannada speaking population here (infact, in my company itself, there r 100s of people 4m karnataka). Recently, a mamooty movie was released in a multiplex here. Definitely movies like akash, AM,.. will be hits here also.
So, plz pass on this msg to a distributor if u know (even i'll try to do that). Let'em just try with 2 shows/week in a multiplex here, we'll take care of the rest..

Yes, Rajani is a superstar and I am sure the movie will make a big news.
But there are certain talents in Kannada who acts better that Rajani.
Our own AnantNag and Vishnu, Ramesh are more versatile then Rajani.
And I dont think Rajani is big talent( I haven't seen his more movies)
He has established himself as a style king. And most of his movies
are unrealistic.
But still he has created big image in India...great..!!!!
And one more thing. Kamal was saying in recent press meet that Rajani is a great
gift to Tamil industry from Karnataka.... nice to listen...!

correct moms ..US has a decent number of kannadigas but they have been denied kannada movies by our own film makers ..you are right DVDs/VCDS/MOvie releases in US and other countries shld happen ASAP ...but this is a positive movie ...and Joke falls has already proved that there is a large market for kannada movies in US 2  ... may be we can expect filmakers tapping these potential markets overseas as well ...I know for sure Gulf has a good kannada population ...hope to see more movies making inroads to these countries as well

some people cant wait for 250 days for a such a goodmovie like AM so they gey pirated dvd's & see it

Dragon : these are not the only kannada movies that were released in the states ..they were many more but they had suddenly died down ...Joke falls tasted good sucess here and currently AP is stated to release ...For more details contact chirag entertainers site..I think viggy has a hand in developing this site as well  ..kudos to this amazing site and its makers

correct kano dragon ...adrooonu they(producers) started thinking about releasing in USA, thats good..
Yavadanne shuru maad bekaadre ... first we have to start with Successfull films... later when they get some market .. they should release simulatenously..(this is how other language movies became popular in Karnataka)
I think next our Raj banner should release Akaash in USA...

More and more producers should release their movies at US as it is yet an uncaptured treasure which all other languages have already discovered.
Aptha, Joke Falls should set the trend. The positive energy that is flowing within the Kannada industry now should be translated into a wider market at U.S and also outside Karnataka. This is the golden time to establish.
