Kalki - The Kind of Uppi Estyle :)
SSS Upendra jointly created the story for Kalki with Pasuli Murali Krishna.
the story seems to be on politicians and it looks like uppi acted in double role 
all the best to Kalki and wish it also breaks all the records and completes silver jubily

Shekar, It does not seem to be a double role. It is just that he will be seen in 2 avatars. It is how a sweeper or something of that rises to become a Politician.
Or is it a double role where the other one is an Inspector? I think the twist has already started.
Probably, we can start posting all these info in the other thread where Kalki is already being discussed.

A, Upendra was a Milestone in Kannada Industry.
Then, came Aapthamithra, which changed the face of Kannada Industry again by running for a YEAR and bringing back the class audience for kannada back.
Jogi came and devastated all the previous records and is re writing the history books and continuing his merry ways at the box office even in the 5th week.
Now, Uppi wants write a script of his own in the box office and all set to do this in KALKI. Definitely, KALKI will be a path breaking movie. Looking at Uppi's getup, definitely we can expect something from the creative genius who is right now hurt deeply mentally by the attitudes of the industry people. Let this creative genius get a shot in the arm with this next phenomena, KALKI.

Sandalwood na Dushtara shikshisi Shishtharanna Rakshisalu KALKI avtaaradalli baruttiruva UPPI ge jayavagali...
His looks and getups are stunning in the posters...
Uppi will be back with vengeance in this movie...Let us wish him good luck..

The story of the film KALKI is: A common man becoming a Police Officer and then Chied Minister.
Other than this, One more Uppi film is launched. Yet to title. See yesterday (Sunday) Kannada prabha paper supliment. The producer of this film is a MBBS Doctor.

Deccan alli photo haakidru..
Uppi gadda shave maadi..Koodlu cut maaadsi...Side lock bittu.. Inspector dress haakkondu..Slim body alli super aagi kaanisthaane..
Expectations are huge from Saadhu+Munirathna+Uppi combination.
This being the third combination of Saadhu and Uppi after SHhh and H2O audience are expecting top class songs.

Great to know Uppi is Playing Police Officer and Politician . He was impressive as Police Office is "Sh". Regarding the Politician, Is he portray any one in the new film ?
We can see DeveGowda, Moili, J H Patel in Operation Antha ,Ofcourse all the duplicates.
some gimmick definetely will be there .

Definitely, Kalki is one of the biggest releases of 2006.
The getups in the movie perfectly suits uppi and definitely, RK's success will be repeated.
I can see a BIG HIT in KALKI

The story of Kalki seems to be so different.. I think, Munirathna knows precisely what makes uppi scintillate on screen..

There are conflicting reports about this movie.
As per one source, this is a remake of tamil movie(name can't remember) *ing satyaraj which was later made into telugu *ing mohan babu.
But, as per some other source, shooting has been stopped/not started becoz the story itself is not ready..

Definitely this is not a Remake. That's for sure. The story, screenplay is by some Telugu guy. The dialogues are by Upendra.
If it's a Remake also, the producer can't hide it for ever. The truth will come out. If they have mislead people saying it's an original, they will given kicks on their ....
Regarding the stoppage of shooting, it might have happened, since, the film is slated for release in April and even the heroines for the movie hasn't been chosen. For the sake of starting the movie, they might have started. Anyhow, let's see how it progresses.
