How was it...?
Month of November was flooded with new film with a record of 13 releases.
It was sheer quantity ignoring the quality. Apart from a few films rest all were failed to click
in the box office. In contrast, only three films were released so far in December including
most expected Hollywood of Upendra. But this month records a maximum number of new film launches including
Prethi Prema Pranaya by Indo-Hollywood Films - an NRI production.
To aficionados of good cinema, Girish Kasaravalli needs no
introduction. As a film maker he has hardly been prolific:
a mere eight films in a career of more than 25 years. And
yet he is the only director to have the distinction of winning
the Swarnakamal or the Golden-lotus award four times. In an extended conversation with viggy.com, Kasaravalli
shares his thoughts on his films, and his career as a film
maker.
