Month of August was nothing special for Kannada Film Industry other than dual 'R's Dr. Rajkumar and Tamil superstar Rajanikanth sharing the stage in the occasion of 100 days celebration of film 'Appu'. Apart from this, a historic event - 'Naagarahaavu Cup' (fun cricket match) to promote the film 'Naagarahavu' was another highlight. Sad part is the recent death of Padmashree B.V. Karanth.
