Annavru - remake of Tamil super hit Dalapati in Kannada starring Ambarish and Darshan

M.C. Dyanand is remaking the hit Tamil film Dalapati in Kannada having rebel star Ambarish and challenging star Darshan in the lead. When it was launched in last June, the film troupe was searching for an apt title. Later announcement said even Kannada version is named as Dalapati! Last week they changed the name again keeping Ambi fans in mind and is now titled 'Annavru'. After a long break Ambarish is acting in Annavru. So expectation level is obviously be very high. Another attraction is the reentry of actress Suhasini. Om Prakash Rao is directing the film. Film has completed shooting and dubbing work is in progress at Ashwini recording studio. In the mean time the DTS adoption process in also on at Chenai. Rajesh Ramanath has scored the music for Annavru while Anaji Nagaraj is the cinematographer. New heroine Shravanthi is acting against Darshan. Siddarth, Kirloskar Sathya, Rajan, P. Dev, Dalapati Dinesh, Pushpalatha, Sumitra etc are among the cast.
