Boyfriends - new teenage film having Madhuri Bhattacharya and Rathi

Boyfriend, yet another teenage film produced by K. Pavitra and Shashidhar hit the floor last week. Jana (Janardhan) who was an Assistant Director for Upendra starer Raktha Kanneeru is directing this film with story and screenplay. He started his career through small screen. In 1998 his TV serial 'Mugila Mallige' had received very good response.

As the title say, Boyfriend obviously has a lot of scope for girlfriends too. New actress Rathi and Madhuri Bhattacharya are the heroines. Rati rooted at Bangalore started her film career in Tamil. Acted in 7 Tamil films so far Radi gets new name here as Rathi. Her busy schedules on shooting floors forced her to take a break from her BDS studies. She is very choosy when it comes to films. She wants to play the roles, where she can demonstrate her acting potential says Rathi. Contrast to this is Madhuri Bhattacharya who is not too particular about her roles. That does not mean she except anything that comes her way. She rejected many negative roles came from Tamil, Telugu and even from Kannada. She is eagerly waiting for the release of her latest film Bisi Bisi starring Ramesh Aravind. Director Jana is in search for suitable boyfriends with good dance and stunt skills for these two dashing girlfriends.

He is a good dancer too. It's really sad that Kannada film industry is not recognizing such young native talents. Disappointed Dilip Raj is now thinking of knocking Tamil and Telugu industry doors. Chaya Singh turned as a flop heroine here entered Tamil filmdom and her film Tiruda Tirudi turned out as a big hit there. Many talented actors like Arjun Sarja, Vinod Alva, Prakash Rai got name and fame out side homeland. Dilip Raj is happy with the role he is playing in Boyfriend.

First part of this film will be shot at Bangalore. Second schedule at Golgumbaz and third phase at Goa, Belgum and Dandeli. Indra, new music director will score the music while stunt is by Thriller Manju for the film.
