Dayanayak - new film of Saikumar based on the life story of Dayanayak launched

There are a few well-known names in Indian Police who really fights against crime dispite of the threat for their life. Dayanayak is one of them who is very famous in Mumbai police circle as well as in underworld for his braveness and encounters. So far he has done 56 encounters. Dayanayak who hails from Mangalore has got an unforgettable childhood. In the age of 13 he ran away from his hometown and reached Mumbai. He spent many nights on the footpath. Besides all these hurdles in life he completed his education and became a police officer. Today Dayanayak is a nightmare for underworld dons in Mumbai.

If you recall, film Sangliyana based on the SP Sangliyana starring Shankar Nag was one of the super hit film of yestyers. Now Kannada film industry is making a police film based on Dayanayak's life story titled Dayanayak. Anand.P. Raju is directing film while Dhanraj Mangalore is producing it. Dialog King Saikumar will play the role of Dayanayak. Director Ramgopal Varma has already directed a film based on Dayanayka's life story with title 'Ab Thak Chappan'. But in that film he portrayed only one part of Dayanak as a police officer. Where as in Kannada, the troupe is concentrating on his personal life as well as professional life. The film will even picturize his childhood. Anand.P.Raju took 5 months to prepare the script. Journalist Mysore Harish who works for Aragini magazine helped Raju in script level. This film was launched on last Saturday at Kanteerava Studio. Dayanayak was supposed to attend the muhurath but could not. Actor Sudip clapped for the first scene.

Saikumar did lots of preparation to act in this film. He read old newspaper cuttings about Dayanakyak and watched his videos to know about him. Before facing the camera in full swing, Saikumar wants to meet Dayanayak to adopt his body language. Shooting will begin from October 9th and film will be shot in Mangalore, Mumbai and Goa. New actor Sachin Suvarna is acting in this film. Avinash, Dhanaraj, Ali Khan, Sumitra, Phazar Khan, Sadhukokila, Doddayya etc are among the cast. Simhadriya Simha producer Vijayakumar will be seen in a special role. There will be 11 stunt scenes directed by Chita Yajnesh Shetty from Mumbai who knows Dayanayak personally. Wilson who worked as an associate director (Chotisi Love Story) in Bollywood is helping Anand P. Raju to director the film Dayanayak.
