Kannada Rajyotsava Awards announced
 Kannada
and culture minister Rani Satish has announced the Kannada
Rajyotsava award yesterday evening. 56 recipients and 4 institutes
including Iskon have been selected for the Rajyotsava award
this year. Chief minister S.M. Krishna will distribute the
award tomorrow on the Rajyotsava Day. The award includes a
20 gm gold medal, a plaque and a shawl. Sports person Boniface
Prabhu, theater person and national award winner director
T.S. Nagabhara, actress Tara, actor Srinath, writer Baraguru
Ramachandrappa, NRI B.V. Jagadeesh are among the winners of
the Rajyotsava award.
