Sarvabhouma
- new film of Shivarajkumar.
Mahesh
Sukhadhare of Sainika fame is all set to kick start his new
film Sarvabhouma - a patriotic film having hat trick hero
Shivrajkumar in double role. This film based on a captive
war prisoner during India Pak war. Shooting for this film
was initiated yesterday at Someshwar temple in Bangalore and
is scheduled for 30 days' single stretch. Dr. Raj and Smt.
Parvatamma were the chief guests. Song recording for Sarvabhoma
was started on August 12 at Akash Audio house. Film has eight
songs with Hamsakekha's music. All songs are based on nationalism
and has an apt tune and tempo to suite the mood.
Story revolves around the father - a war prisoner who comes
back from prison after 26 years and the son who struggle to
lead life in modern India. Film has everything from patriotism
to emotions to love. To support these, there are two heroines.
Sukhadhare who wanted to have Vasundara Das in the first role
has changed his mind and now has Mayuri in that place. Shipla
Shivanand plays the second role. She has acted in two Telugu
films and acted in many commercials. This is her debut in
Kannada.
Shivrajkumar
is very happy about his character both as father and son.
He thinks it's a real challenge to act as father and son because
both roles move in opposite direction. There is nothing common
between two characters says Shivanna. When asked who wins
the real life battle, he gave a claver answer saying 'Sarvabhouma'!.
He is confident enough that people will like both his roles
and the film.
Director Sukhadhare who wanted to shoot the film in Pakistan
now has changed his mind to create a set resembling the actual
one in Pakistan. They met Narayan from Sagar who returned
from Pakistan jail after spending his 21 years there as a
prisoner. So his bitter experience is going to help the director
to bring in realistic touch to the film. Produced by R. Jagadhish,
this film has Sukhadhare's story and dialog by B.A. Madhu.
Film is expected to hit the screen in January 2004.
