Dhad Dhad film review
Dhad
Dhad sounds like a door knock or may be the sound of heartbeat.
But is the sound of silence says director Hemanth Hegde. Film
Dhad Dhad maintains suspense till end. It's surely a suspense
film without any nail biting thriller scenes. Film has been
picturised in the Malnad region Sirsi.
Main characters of the film are hero Suresh (Krishna Mohan),
his friend Dodda (Raju Anantha Swamy), heroine Nayana (Durga
Shetty), her father Ramaiah Hegde (Avinash), his wife (Chitra
Shenoi), his mother (Bhargavi Narayan), his sister Sharadha
(Manjubhashini) and servant (Mandya Ramesh). Film starts from
a city and soon enters a village in Sirsi. Suresh comes to
that village with his friend Dodda for his project. He stays
at Ramaiah Hegde's house who does not have good rapo in the
village. Suresh falls in live with his daughter Nayana. Till
then film looks like a regular film. Chilling part starts
only after the murder of Hegde's sister Sharadha. From there
onwards starts a series of murders one after the other of
the same family and the search of the murderer begins. Who
is the Murderer? No one can guess till the end. Viewers will
suspect every character of the film.
Avinash shines in his role. Durga Shetty and Krishna Mohan
are okay. Music by Madhukar is good. Cinematography by Surendranath
Begur has helped to build the suspense and curiosity. Raju
Anantha Swamy makes you to laugh through out the film. Mandya
Ramesh's contribution should also be considered to create
comic mood.
