As most of the films released in last one month are doing pretty well in the box office. Producers of those films are not ready to remove their films from the theaters. Because of this good theaters in Bangalore are not available for new releases and that is why last week there was no release of any films. But this week Ondagona Baa of Crazy Star Ravichandran and bollywood beauty Shilpa Shetty in the lead is releasing. This is the second film in Ravichandran and Shilpa Shetty combination after Preethsod Thappa. Rockline Venkatesh has produced the film and this is his high expectation film too.

Ondagona Baa is remake of Telugu film Kalisundam Raa that has won the state and national award. This film was made even in Hindi titled Kuch Tum Kaho Kuch Hum Kahein having Fardeen Khan and new actress Richa Pallod in the lead. Uday Shakar has directed the Kannada version with story and screenplay. Hamsalekha has scored the music. This successful pair of Hamsalekha and Ravichadran have worked together in this film after a long gape. Songs of Ondagona Baa has set a record recently in audio sale. Many well-known actors like Somayajilu, K.R. Vijaya, Chithra Shenoi, Charan Raj, Pavithra Lokesh, Vanita Vasu, Doddanna, Pramila Joshai, Tara, Shivaram, Rekha etc are acting in this family sentiment film. Song sequences were being shot at Switzerland. Sitharam is behind the camera.
