Preethi Prema Pranaya 100 days celebration exclusive photo gallery
Preethi Prema Pranaya marked 100 days

M.S. Sathyu, Kavitha Lankesh and Ananthnag Kannada films this year are doing much better compared to last year. Abhi, Kutumba and Kariya have completed 100 days. Last week Preethy Prema Pranaya directed by Kavitha Lnakesh, produced by Indo-Hollywood films marked 100 days too. The film troupe celebrated this joyous moment on Saturday at Badami House, Bangalore. All most all crewmembers were present except the producers. B. Sarojadevi, ace director M.S. Sathyu, Vishnuvardhan, Jayanthi, Ramesh Aravind and Vijaya Raghavendra were the chief guests of the evening - a simple but well organized program.

Kavitha was getting appreciation from all corners. B. Sarojadevi and Jayanthy thanked her for giving good movie like PPP, which can be viewed by all age group sitting together without any embarrassment. P.S. Sathyu gave the success credit to P. Lankesh. He said Kavitha dared to choose such a strong topic because she is the daughter of brave journalist Lankesh. She faced all hurdles came her way during the release and at later stage. Vishnuvardhan who came a little late to the function, congratulated Kavitha and appreciated her bold step to choose such an unusual story and said Kavitha should give more such films and bring success to Kannada filmdom in national and international level. "Hats off to you" is the expression came
M.S. Sathyu, Bharathi, B. Sarojadevi, Vishnuvardhan & Ramesh Aravindfrom the heart of Ramesh Aravind for Ananthnag's unbeatable performance. He expressed the same about the acting of Bharathi.

Excited Ananthnag explained how Kavitha convinced him to play this role. When Ananthnag read the script he was a little hesitant to play this as she had given a lot of importance to this character and he was against the song, which was picturized on him and Bharathi. But Kavitha was firm and confident about what she had in mind. Ananthanag now says Kavitha was absolutely right and he was totally wrong! He thanked Kavitha for choosing a relevant subject, which shows the mentality of three different generations.

Guests of the evening distributed the mementos to the key members of the crew and lead role players distributed mementos to other technicians and actors of the film. Prakash Rai, Sunil Rao, Sudharani and Anuprabhakar thanked Kavitha for giving them a chance to act with senior actors like Ananthnag, Bharathi, Uncle Loknath and Shivaram. Anuprabhakar was so exited, so exited; one could see it reflecting on her face. She has acted in more than 25 films and some of them have even marked 100 days. But this
was the first film where she was receiving a memento for 100 days completion! Uncle Loknath, Sampath, Arun Sagar, choreographer Madan-Harini and other technicians of PPP received the souvenirs. Goutham Vishnuvardhan & Ananthnagreceived the memento on behalf of Mano Murthy - the music director and one of the producers who wanted to come for the event from USA but could not, due to a surgery. Actress Bhavana was not present in the function. Kavitha Lankesh who is known for art films like Deveri, Bimba etc expressed her happiness and gratitude to all who supported her and made the film a success. She thanked the producers of Indo-Hollywood films for adequate support. It was surprising that though PPP had four producers - Mano Murthy, Ramprasad, Dr. Renuka Ramappa and Somashekhar, there was no mention about them except Mano Murthy. However, PPP was a good film well done by Kavitha and deserved this success. She also announced the release of her next film Bimba which has already received rave reviews from film professionals and media which will be released shortly. We at viggy.com congratulate the entire film troupe for their achievement.
