'Aham Premaasmi' for Shivarathri!
Trailblazer
of Kannada showbiz industry V. Ravichandran's most expected
project 'Aham Premaasmi' is at last getting ready to emerge
as a masterpiece. "If lord Brahma write the foreordainment,
I write the love ordainment" says this visionary who is very
confident about what he does. This magnificent dream of a
dreamer ('Kanasugaarana Kanasu'), which was supposed to hit
the screen during January will be released during March this
year. Unlike the conventional postproduction, Ravi is going
for Digital Grading for Aham Premaasmi [Read the footnote
for details on Digital Grading] and hence the delay he said.
For the first time in Kannada film history, the whole film
is going through this process.
After Prema Loka, there was nothing of his in that range of
popularity and now his obvious aim is to create history once
again. Ravi has put his heart, soul and everything into 'Aham
Premaasmi' and carried it on his shoulder as a producer with
direction, story, screenplay, dialogs, lyrics, music, and
also as an actor! Invested massively on this project, Ravichandran
is churning out very innovative marketing strategies to get
good return on investment. One of them was the unique approach
to sell audiocassettes and CD of Aham Premaasmi. Launched
last week, these audio CD/Cassettes are sold only through
TV Cable operators. So if you want to buy the audio CD/Cassette
of 'Aham
Premaasmi', just call your nearby cable operator and they
will be at your doorstep! This translates into more business,
more profitable compared to audio retail chain, he claims.
And it immensely helps to overcome piracy. "Piracy eats off
more than 50% of our profits" says Ravi. With his new marketing
channel, Eshwari Audio Company has sold almost 60,000 CDs
in less than a week's time! Whats more, they have ceased more
than 1,00,000 pirated audiocassettes during a recent raid
on a cassette shop!
"Music of this film is all time hit" said Ravichandran who
is trying all possible tactics to introduce his brother Balaji
in a grand manner. And of course, he is confident about the
outcome. Actress Arthi Chabria pairs Balaji while Sharan,
Ganesh, Chitra Shenoy etc are in the supporting roles and
Seetharam is behind the camera. So be prepared for a visual
treat by coming Shivarathri!
About Digital Grading: Digital
grading allows cinematographers to enhance their artistry
without compromising their aesthetic. It allows them to adjust
lights, shadow and color to create a new look, feel and mood
the director wants and achieve effects that would be impossible
on sets.
