Sentiment flicks never fails in countries like India if played with gripped narration and convincing performance. Because people here respect human values and respond to others emotions. Be it Kamal Hassan's Swathi Muthyam or recent K3G. What's more, even in Kannada we have plenty of sentiment blockbusters. Moreover, we have certain set of filmmakers and directors specialized for such films. K. Prabhakar is one of them who produced hit films like Avale Nanna Gelathi, Muddina Maava, Tumbida Mane, Solillada Saradara etc. He is back to production again teaming up with director Sai Prakash. This year's state award winners Shivarajkumar and Radhika have made a distinct mark as brother and sister in Sai Prakash's super hit film 'Tavarige Baa Thangi'. And apparently, the new venture 'Anna - Tangi' of Prabhakar is featuring the duo again in the lead! Director Sai Prakash aims high once again with story and screenplay. R. Giri will handle the camera while B.A. Madhu pens the dialogues for 'Anna - Tangi' scheduled to kickoff on February 28. Songs were recorded for the movie at Hamsalekha Studio recently and obviously Hamsalekha has scored the music with lyrics.
I was overwhelmed by the contents of this website. Its really great to see that Kannada film industry which is being viewed shabbily by outsiders contrary to the reality, has been portrayed hear nicely.
