'Ekadantha' - new film of Dr. Vishnuvardhan and Ramesh directed by Sachin

Vidhya Enterprises, who produced News is trying their luck with their second venture Ekadantha -- but with a difference this time! Well-known Hindi and Marathi actor, director Sachin is debuting to Kannada filmdom with this film. Vishnuvardhan, Ramesh and Prema play the lead roles in Ekadantha that was launched last week.

Sachin has directed several Marathi films of high caliber. And comedy is his forte. His Kannada debut Ekadantha is based on his own novel written in 1982. His previous Marathi film too was based on this novel to some extent. Dr. Vishnuvardhan who liked this subject invited Sachin to direct a Kannada movie. Sachin too watched Aptha Mitra and just loved the way its been filmed.

While talking about the story, he said, "It is all about the belief and unbelief in God. The same will be presented in a comical way." He is very impressed by the teamwork here.

Due to ill health, Dr. Vishnuvardhan could not attend the muhurath. Ramesh and Prema are the counterparts. Vishnuvardhan plays a key role. Y.M.N. Murthy is penning the dialogues while Gurukiran is the music director.
