Kanti is the second film of young star Murali of Chandra Chakori fame. This film is based on a unique subject dealing with language crisis of Belgaum plus the budding love of two young hearts. Audiocassettes of the film were released yesterday. This film produced by R. Srinivas (R.S. Productions) has Bharath's directorial debut who worked as an Assistant Director with well-known directors like Ravichandran, Sunilkumar Desai, S. Mahendar etc. Entire troupe is confident about Bharath's work. This film gives a good message to public he says. Ramya is the counterpart for Murali.

Audio release function was held at Malleshwarm club yesterday. Ashwini Recording Company owns the music rights. Ramprasad of Ashwini Audio, producer Srinivas, director Bharath and hero Murali were present at the function. Kanti has 6 songs in Gurukiran's music. Kaviraj, V. Manohar and Bhangiranga have penned the lyrics while S.P, Shubha, Chitra, Hemanth and Sonu Nigam have sung the songs.

Kanti has completed the shooting for talky portions and five songs in 62 days. They are shooting the last song in abroad. Is expected to hit the screen shortly.
