Mayur and Tanu Roy in film Love Story
Love Story - new film of Mayur

Mayur and his father Madan PatelEk Dooje Keliye starring Kamal Hasan and Rathi Angihorti was a trendsetter of that time. Based on this film is Love Story produced by Madan Patel having his son Mayur in the lead. Directed by well-known director Bharathi Kannan this film has completed its shooting on February 5th. Maro Charitra, a Telugu flick was the original version of Love Story. While Mayur plays Kamal's role here, Tanu Roy plays that of Rathi Angihorti. Mayur has proved his talent in his debut film Mani. Though Mani didn't do well in the box office, his performance there received rave reviews.

Similar to its original version most part of Love Story too has splendid beauty of Karnataka coast. They have captured the beautiful seashores of Malpe, Udupi, Saint Mary's Island, Karwar, Kumta, Om beach (Gokarna) and Honnavar. Other locations include Bangalore and Chenai but all within 50 days! Mayur shared many of his experiences during the making of this film with us two days back. He got free of cost suntan! Thanks to his days out on hot sand, which is troubling him even after they came back to Bangalore. Heroine is no exception says Mayur. As she went abroad for Sun Silk commercial, she could not participate in this gathering.

Ek Dooje Keliye was a trendsetter in all aspects including its evergreen songs. Since Madan Patel too hailsMayur in film Love Story from a family of musicians, he wanted to give good music through this film and his choice was S.A. Rajkumar. 'Songs are just superb' says Madan. Love Story has 6 songs out of which two are based on its original tune of song 'Tere Mere Beech Mein…'. Madana Patel is planning to release the audio on Feb 14th - Valentine's Day. He is even planning to invite Kamal Hassan and Rati Agnihothri, the leads of Ek Dooje...

According to Mayur, songs of Love Story are fantasy based and there is no space for vulgarity. Their banner is introducing a new choreographer Nobel to Kannada filmdom. Mayur enjoyed every moments in front of the camera except a stunt scene where a co-artist accidentally kicked on his chest and face. This simple, shy natured Kannada boy has lots of hope on this project where he puts his heart and soul with hard work. Film is scheduled to release on first week of April. Ok Saar Ok having Mayur's father Madan in the lead will be released on first week of March.
