"There were a total of 122 films from 13 languages in the battlefield" said Chairman of the jury Basu Chatterjee.

We particularly congratulate actor Dattatreya (Dattanna), producer Mano Murthy and director Kavitha Lankesh for their achievements. Dattanna received a Special Mention Award for his brilliant performance in Mouni, while Preethi Prema Pranaya directed by Kavitha Lankesh and produced by Mano Murthy bagged the Best Regional Film award this year.
