Ranga racked up high scores!

It is hard to predict the success of a film in today's scenario and producers and directors are often in dilemma till they see the result. Reason is obvious - many high expectation films bombed in the box office leaving producers in heavy loss. Ranga (SSLC), film of Sudeep and Ramya released in such situation brings relief to its makers. This film is doing well all over Karnataka. To share the joy of success the film troupe had called for a party last week and introduced the distributors of Ranga. Producer Kumar feels distributors too play a key role in the success of the film and hence distributors of all regions were present there.

First week's collection is the indication of film's success. People from all over Karnataka welcomed Ranga and appreciating the team. But it was hard to analyse the success factor. People are not clear why they liked the movie. There is a mixed reaction. Something is attracting the crowd. What is that pulse? Director Yograj Bhat was in relaxed mood. He was foundered by the failure of Mani and Ranga's SSLC result is letting him breath comfortably! This was a do or die situation for him. This low-key person believes in 'speak less; work hard' policy "I am happy" is the only thing came from him about the film's success! Said, he is thankful to the producer N. Kumar and Sudeep for giving him a chance to prove himself.

Sandeep Chowta was present at the party too. Being a Kannadiga he scored for very few Kannada movies. But busy in Bollywood. He took special care for Ranga (SSLC). Ranga (SSLC) is N. Kumar's 23rd production and number 23 is proved lucky for him. Because his 23rd production launched on January 23rd and released on April 23rd! Whatever may be the reason for success, at the end of the day it's box office collection that counts.
