Its now 'Uppi Dada MBBS'
 Some
of the members of viggy.com discussion board a few days back
posted a question 'why not Vishnu Dada MBBS'. Some said why
not and some said no. However the film is launching soon but
as 'Uppi Dada MBBS'.
Munna Bhai MBBS starring Sanjay Datt created a new wave in
Bollywood cinema with its unusual narration and his performance
though it was delusive in nature. Success of this film made
Gemini Labs remake it in Tamil, Telugu and in Kannada. Titled
as Shankar Dada MBBS in Telugu will have Chiranjeevi, Shreekanth
and Sonali Bendre in the lead while the Tamil version has
Kamal Hassan, Prabhudev and Sneha. Its Uppi in Kannada.
After the failure of Upendra's home production Gokarna many
felt that as the end of Uppi Craze. But the failure or success,
which are part of live, did not affect his route. He is still
a busy man! Shooting of his film Omkara is on the verge of
completion while one more film News was launched last month.
Following these two is Uppi Dada MBBS. D. Rajendra Babu is
directing this film while Upendra himself is working on script.
R.P. Patnaik who is the busiest music director in Kannada
will be scoring the music.
