Devaru Varavanu Kotre film review

Amrutha The trend in Kannada film industry these days is to feature films on youth and campus story. Deavaru Varavanu Kotre is not only a love story of youth but also it is a film that shows bachelors woes. Taking the first line of a song from super hit film Friends, this film is produced by Jayashree Devi. The same crew plays even the lead roles.

Vasu, Anand, Sharan and Hari are unemployed bachelors who are in search of a rented house to live. As they are bachelors they find difficulty to get a house. The broker Kashi tries to get them a hose. Finally Major Bank Janardhan who agrees to rent them his house. But according to his condition the youth fails to sing the Vasupatriotic song Saare Jahanse Accha and they loose that house too. Then Akshatha (Amrutha), who is the daughter of Kashi gives her house to them and even helps them to start their own business. All the four fall in love with her and each of them tries to impress her. In the mean time they come to know that Akshatha is suffering from life threatening disease and she can be saved only if she undergoes a major surgery which costs 10 lakhs. How they arrange that big amount of money forms the rest of the story.

All four heroes - Vasu, Anand, Sharan and Hari have performed well. Dakota Express fame Amrutha has done a good job. Kashi keeps audience laughing though in some instances it looks like a bit of over acting. Songs sung by Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan etc are OK for which K. Kalyan has scored the music.

Cast: Vasu, Anand, Hari, Sharan, Amrutha, Kashi, Bank Janardhan etc
