The movie has come up really well. Prakash has tried to add all items - action, suspense, comedy, sentiments everything to make SHREE a complete entertainer.
STORY:
The story revolves around a BANK robbery. The first half of the movie happens in Bangkok. A gang of masked people breaks the security system and robs the bank. Then the investigation starts... Ananth Nag and Avinash are the investigation officers appointed by Thailand government. They investigate many people and get few clues.
Vijaya Raghavendra (Shree) and his "Mama/Mava" Komal work for a restaurant owned by Shakeela . They have come from Bangalore to Bankok to make some money. There comes a flashback to explain why Vijaya Raghavendra needs money. Jennifer Kotwal (Deepa) is a software Engineer. She gets in to some trouble by a few rowdies and she asks Vijay to save her from rowdies. She promises to give money to Vijay and Vijay helps her. The investigation also continues parellally...
Till Interval story takes place with lot of comedy by Komal, Vijay, Shakeela and Suleman of Aham Premasmi. (I don't know his real name). The second half of the movie takes place in Bangalore. Vijay's family also gets into trouble...
That's it. I don't want to tell any thing more about the story.. Go and watch it on the big screen. You will surely ENJOY it.
PERFORMANCE:
Vijaya Raghavendra has done a fantastic job. The action sequences are the main attraction of the movie and Vijay shines there.
Komal Kumar has good opportunity to show his talent in the movie. The comedy sequences have come out really well. At the end, Komal proves he is capable of doing sentimental role as well.
Jennifer is okay. Looks glamorous. She could have done a little better.
Ananth Nag, Avinash, Rahul Dev (Hindi), Vinaya Prasad, Bhavya have done justice to their roles.
MUSIC:
Music is not that great. But the picturization of the songs are fantastic. Especially, Deepa deepa, Money money and one more song in Bangkok have come out superb!

Over all, SHREE is a good movie. Looks like another 100 days movie in the beginning of 2006. You can go and watch it without any hesitations.
