Diganth - hero of Kannada movie Miss California

First Shot...
Actor Diganth shares his debut experience

"First impression is the best impression" goes an old saying. Similarly, for many, first experience turns to be the best experience. Whether its good or bad, it is indeed the first feel and has its own significance in their career moving forward. So many people cherish those moments of their life. We captured the 'First Shot' experience of Diganth, the hero of new Kannada cinema 'Miss California'. He shared his experience exclusively with viggy.com in his own words… Excerpts:

I think this is the most rememberable work I have ever done in my life. My first movie experience was great.... SOUND, ROLLING, MONITER, ACTION... they are still echoing in my ears...

Diganth - hero of Kannada movie Miss CaliforniaFirst I faced the camera through a song, where I had to dance. Those steps were pretty tough to follow for the first time... But dance master Ragu made it so easy that I did it in the very first take... I was little nervous but I gained self-confidence quickly. Since that was my first ever shoot, director was very patient and gave me enough time to learn those dance steps.

I should mention about this for sure... was a pretty scary incident... I was driving a jeep while shooting the song... it was really an old jeep and its steering was really tight. I had to drive the jeep on the mud roads of Chikmagalur tea estate. Camera was far away from me, and so were the people… In the middle, I lost my balance and almost fell from the jeep... Oops... I would have fallen into almost 50 feets deep trenches... luckily I managed to escape from that disaster...

Working with Dattanna was great fun and even with Swastik Shankar - two men with great sense of humor. Both helped me a lot improvising my acting, with modulation and body language.

Diganth - hero of Kannada movie Miss CaliforniaAnd of course Janu (heroine)… How can I forget her... She can't speak Kannada. So our assistant director Sandeep Malani was prompting her Kannada. She has a very funny Kannada accent and sometimes she could not even repeat some words. She used to murmur something like blurjhfjkhsjhuifik... It was so funny... I have laughed so many times on the takes. But she acts so well. I have not seen any debut actress like her...
