Bangalore rowdies are on streets... thank god, they are acting!
 Nobody knows
whether the film Kariya will celebrate 100 days in theaters or not,
but has completed its 100 days shooting. No doubts, is a record
in Kannada film industry as this film has 23 underworld dons acting.
This credit goes to Director Prem and Producer Anekal Balaraj, who
really struggled a lot to bring them out of sell on bail. Bringing
all 23 rowdies to the set at once is not an easy job. Each rowdy
will have 15-20 followers. Apart from this, there was a police security
in three shifts. Producer has to bear all expenses including their
lunch, dinner, breakfast, coffee, even for their cigarette and 'gundu'.
Even after all these headaches our producer felt, only male rowdies
are not enough to add masala to the movie. So thought of adding
a female rowdy and he got the name of Mari Muttu. He requested her
to act in his film but she refused to act, as now she very busy
in her councilor job and said is not ready to spoil her image. Uniqueness
of this film is that all murders and crimes done by these rowdies
are shot at the same site the way it was done actually!!! Darshan
Tugudeep as hero. "It's not a film full of crime and torture. Instead,
has a love story with a message 'no rowdy will get the love of a
girl'. Great music.. Though the film is full of rowdies and talwar,
is not a blood pool" says Prem when asked about sensor board. Its
not a big deal to convince these rowdies to act in the movie but
making them act is a big challenge. Since most of the murder and
robbery happens in the night, even the film shooting is done in
the night to bring reality.
