Dr. Rajkumar - the legend

Dr. Rajkumar - a man who influenced millions!

His dedication, commitment and humbleness brought him closer to people and he became the household name. What's more, Dr. Rajkumar was considered as one of India's most beloved stars. Many International newspapers and online portals like CNN, New York Times, San Jose Mercury News, The Cleveland Examiner and Washington Post etc have lauded his unparalleled contribution to Kannada and Kannada film fraternity.

Apart from print and online media, even the TV channels from various regions in the US mentioned the death of Rajkumar and referred him as a massively popular star.

Some of them even interviewed Kannadigas in the United States. Their unanimous voice was 'the actor who died of cardiac arrest was more than a film star' Of course, he was a phenomenon and a legend. As Mr. K.S. Prasad from Chirag Entertainers rightly mentioned to San Jose Mercury News, "He won the heart of everybody. With that kind of popularity, I don't think any actor in America can be compared to him."

In a nutshell, Rajkumar had a larger than life image and believed in simple living and hence was able to reach and influence millions of Kannadigas - not as a star but as a great human being.

Good job ! Most so-called Indian movie sites totally ignore Kananda films (See the once-in-a blue-moon article in Rediff). This is badly needed. Hope you expand the content. All the best.
