'Ranga SSLC' - an unusual flick!
Sandeep
Chowta is a hot name today in Bollywood music. This musician's
magical tunes blended with hot star Sudeep's unusual performance
is giving all of us a film with a difference - Ranga SSLC
that has originality in every frame with a style. Yogaraj
Bhat who gained immense appreciation in his very first film
'Mani' directed this film produced by N. Kumar who has seen
almost all the faces of filmdom. "Sandeep is a big plus for
this film," said Sudeep during the audiocassette release function
at Hotel Sarovar yesterday. Producer N. Kumar, director Yogaraj
Bhat, music director Sandeep Chowta, hero Sudeep, Sarovar
Sanjeev, Anand Audio owner Mohan were present at the function.
Anand Audio owns the music rights. Film has five songs penned
by Dr. Nahendra Prasad.
"Everything has come out exceptionally superb from music through
choreography to my own characterization and dialogs," says
Sudeep while talking to us casually. "We have encouraged local
talents and newcomers in this movie - from singers to choreographer.
Young dance master Harsha has done a marvelous job for the
title song with a troupe of 'Yakshagana' artists and more
than hundred co-artists" he added. Its pretty rare to see
such encouragement
and motivation to a fresher that too for the title song! "It
comes out as a polished piece only when all artists and technicians
put their heart into it," he admitted during the audio release
function. Credit goes to the producer who bets on the success
of the film. N. Kumar who has done variety of films even at
a low budget of 15 lakhs is spending almost 1.25 crores for
this film. They are leaving for Malaysia for a song shoot
this weekend.
As Sudeep said, Sandeep Chowta's music is definitely a plus
for this film. Sandeep who entered Bollywood in 1998 through
'Satya' has created successful and refreshingly different
soundtracks for many films including Ram Gopal Varma's 'Mast'
and 'Jungle', background scores for 'Asoka', 'Kaun' 'Shool'
and 'Vaastav' as well as songs like 'Kambakth Ishq' (Pyar
Tune Kya Kiya) and 'Khallas'(Company) that pulled the youth
crazily.
So stay tuned for another trendsetter in Sandalwood!
